TODAY’S STUDY
Unconditional Love Rejects Sinning
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
The “I” life is crucified with (the Lord Jesus) Christ…
…and it is no longer the “I” life that lives…
but it is the “Christ Life” that lives in(dwelling) me…
…and the “Christ Life…” the (Zoe) life which I now live in the flesh (in the body) I live by faith in (and dependence on) the Son of God…
…who loved me (unconditionally) and gave Himself up for me.
“Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’”
ABSOLUTE TRUTH
The established and irrevocable fact that God loves you unconditionally DOES NOT mean He wants you to sin
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?//May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
Now the Lord is (God) the (Holy) Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and (in) truth.”
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be (En Pneumati)…(be) filled with the Spirit…
I, John, your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
I was in the Spirit (En Pneumati) on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet…
…saying, “Write in a book what you see, and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.//“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts (higher) than your thoughts.”
For the (unconditional) love of Christ controls us (believers in Christ), having concluded this, that One (the Lord Jesus Christ) died for ALL (not just for some), therefore ALL died (were spiritually dead)…
…and He (the Lord Jesus Christ) died for all, so that they who live (the Zoe Life…believers in Christ) might no longer live (the Zoe Life) for themselves, but for Him (the Lord Jesus Christ) who died and rose again on their behalf.
Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh (the Old Self Life, even when they live in it); even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.
Therefore if (1) anyone is in (union with) Christ, he is a new creature (spiritual species); the old (self) things passed away; behold, new (self) things have come.

When I Think About Home
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Afterward Jesus found him (the man who had been ill for thirty-eight years) in the temple (at Bethesda) and said to him, “Behold, you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.”
Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they (the ones who were accusing you)? Did no one condemn you?//She said, “No one (condemned me), Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.”
Therefore do not let (the) sin (nature) reign (as sovereign) in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts…
…and do not go on presenting the members of your body to (the) sin (nature) as instruments of unrighteousness; but (instead) present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members (of your body) as instruments of righteousness to God.
For (the) sin (nature) shall not be master over you, for you are not under (Mosaic) law but (you are) under grace.
Let (unconditional) love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
But I say, walk by the Spirit (En Pneumati), and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.//For the flesh sets its desire against the (God the Holy) Spirit, and the (God the Holy) Spirit (sets His desire) against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not (keep on) do(ing) the things that you please (obeying the lusts of the flesh).
So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles (unbelievers) also walk, in the futility of their mind,//being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart…
…and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.//But you did not learn Christ in this way…
…and do not give the devil an opportunity (a room in your soul).
But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints…
For this reason it says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.”//Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but (walk) as wise (men walk)…
…making the most of your time, because the days are evil.//So then do not be foolish, but (instead) understand what the will of the Lord is…
Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.//For it is because of these things (worshiping self not God) that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience (unbelievers)…
…and in them (these sins) you also once walked (in lifestyle), when you were living in them.//But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth.
Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who names the name of the Lord (is a believer in Christ and) is to abstain from
wickedness.”
We know that no one who is born of God (ouk…not never makes it a habit) sins; but He who was born of God (the Lord Jesus Christ) keeps him (the believer), and the evil one does not touch him.//We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in (union with) Him who is true, in (union with) His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and (the) eternal life (the Zoe Life).//Little children, guard yourselves from idols.
