Welcome To BARAH MINISTRIES

a Christian Church

…(be) shepherd(s of) the flock of God among you (which means to feed them, protect them, lead them, guide them) exercising oversight (as a guardian… and do your job) not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain (out of greed for money), but with eagerness (for service)…

For the word of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing (unbelievers), but to us (believers in Christ) who are being saved (by the work of Christ on the Cross) it is the power of God.

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in (union with) Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

The Mighty One, God, the Lord, has spoken, and summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.

And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world…

We Fall Down
We fall down…we lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus
The greatness of, mercy and love, at the feet of Jesus
And we cry Holy, Holy, Holy
We cry Holy, Holy, Holy
And we cry Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lamb

We Fall Down
We fall down, we lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus

TODAY’S STUDY

Romans Chapter 1 - Prayer is Intentional

“And all things you ask in prayer, BELIEVING, you will receive.”

Romans, Chapter 1, Verses 8 to 15
Paul’s Prayer for the Purpose of his Ministry

First, I, Paul, thank God the Father in prayer through Jesus Christ’s name for all you believers in Rome, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world…throughout the entire Roman Empire.

…pray without ceasing…

PRAYER
A private, intimate talk between you and God which gives you access to the same divine omnipotence that sustained the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross…which gives you access to the same power that raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead…a privilege which allows you to invoke divine power for yourself and for others in circumstances that have no human solution.

In the same way (God) the (Holy) Spirit also helps (continually in) our weakness (in prayer); for we (believers in Christ) do not know how to pray as we should, but (God) the (Holy) Spirit Himself intercedes (appeals) for us (in prayer) with groanings too deep for words…

…and He (God the Father) who searches the hearts knows what the mind of (God) the (Holy) Spirit is, because He (God the Holy Spirit) intercedes for the saints (believers in Christ) according to the will of God.

And we know that God (the Father) causes (the) all things to work together for good to those who love God…to those who (love Him are those who) are called according to His purpose (all believers in Christ).

For those whom He (God the Father) foreknew (all believers in Christ), He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), so that He (the Lord Jesus Christ) would be the firstborn among many brethren (the new species that has been purified
from sin…US!)…

…and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified (conformed to the image of His Son).

What then shall we say to these things? If (1) God (the Father) is for us (and He is), who is against us?

He (God the Father) who did not spare His own Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), but delivered Him over for us all, how will He (God the Father) not also with (our union with) Him (the Lord Jesus Christ) freely give us all things?

BREAK
Voice of Truth
When I Think About Home

For this reason (because the Lord will triumph over His enemies) we (believers in Christ) must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.

For if (1) the word spoken through angels proved unalterable (and it did), and (if) every transgression and (every) disobedience received a just penalty (and it did)…

…how will we escape if we neglect (disregard and fail to take advantage of) so great a salvation (we won’t)?

The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble;//and those who know Your name (believers in Christ) will put their trust (faith) in You, For You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

God is our refuge and (our) strength, a very present help in trouble.

And He (the Lord Jesus Christ) came out (from the Upper Room) and proceeded as was His custom to the Mount of Olives (the Garden of Gethsemane); and the disciples also followed Him.

When He (the Lord Jesus Christ) arrived at the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

And He (the Lord Jesus Christ) withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray…

…saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him (the Lord Jesus Christ), strengthening Him.

And being in agony He (the Lord Jesus Christ) was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.

When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow…

…and said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.//In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed

Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.
