Class Outline:

WELCOME TO BARAH MINISTRIES

a Christian Church

…you have done well to share with me in my affliction.

…you sent a gift more than once for my needs.

Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account (by giving the gift).

“I (the Lord Jesus Christ) am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”

…brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise (and of course there is), (let your mind) dwell on these things.

…my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (glorious riches which come from being) in (union with) Christ Jesus.

Barah Ministries Financial Policy

Even though we are sanctioned by God to charge for the many things we provide for you to worship God, we choose not to exercise our right.  Therefore no price appears on any material from Barah Ministries so that anyone who desires biblical teaching may have it free of charge. Even though the materials we provide are free of charge, they are not free of cost.  We appreciate it when the Word of God motivates you to provide for others with your contribution.

OFFERING VERSE
“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

Remember to give with the motivation suggested in Scripture
Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful (grace oriented) giver.

Romans Chapter 1 -

Some Final Thoughts About Prayer

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER
A privilege given to us by God which gives us direct and immediate access to Him…an intentional and intimate heart-to-heart talk with God, on whom we are totally dependent, in which we ask Him to use divine omnipotence to help us in time of need, especially when no human solution is possible or apparent…a public or private display of our faith that our God always hears us, intercedes for us, and blesses us with solutions to our most pressing concerns.

“This is eternal life (the Zoe Life), that they may know You, the only true God (and Father), and (the Lord) Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

But as many as received Him (the Lord Jesus Christ through faith alone in Him alone), to them He (the Lord Jesus Christ) gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name…

Now He (the Lord Jesus Christ) was telling them (His disciples) a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart…

…saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear (respect) God and did not respect man.”

“There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him (the judge), saying, ‘Give me legal protection from my opponent.’”

“For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear (respect) God nor respect man…’”

‘…yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’”

And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said…”

“…now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?”

…pray without ceasing…

Epaphras, who is one of your number, a bondslave of Jesus Christ, sends you his greetings, always laboring earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

And the Lord said to him (Ananias), “Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying…

For God, whom I (Paul) serve in my spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you,// always in my prayers making request, if perhaps now at last by the will of God I may succeed in coming to you.

…in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for (those of) you in (union with) Christ Jesus

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”

“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.”

Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”

“And all things you ask in prayer, BELIEVING, you will receive.”

“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,//casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,//to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
