Welcome To BARAH MINISTRIES

a Christian Church

The elders who rule well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.

Therefore many other signs (the Lord) Jesus (Christ) also performed in the presence of the disciples (His students), which are not written in this book (the Bible)…

…but these (signs that) have been written (of here are written) so that you may believe that (the Lord) Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah), the Son of God; and that (by) believing (in Him) you may have (the Zoe) life in His name.

But what does it (the Old Testament Scripture) say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART” — that is, the word of faith (the gospel message) which we are preaching (…the Word of faith alone in Christ alone for eternal life)…

…that if (3) you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord (maybe you will and maybe you won’t), and believe in your heart that God (the Father) raised Him from the dead, you will be saved…

…for with the heart a person believes, resulting in (the imputation of absolute) righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

For the (Old Testament) Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM (the Lord Jesus Christ) WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”

…but grow in the (sphere of) grace and (grow in the) knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

…or even if (1) there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, asindeed there are many gods and many lords,//yet for us (believers in Christ)there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through (our union with) Him.

TODAY’S STUDY

Romans Chapter 1 - Prayer Helps in Tough Situations

THOREAU
I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately
To live deep…and to suck all the marrow out of life
And to put to rout all that was not life So that when I had come to die…
I might not discover that I had not lived.

“HAVE A TALK WITH GOD”
Stevie Wonder

When you feel your life’s too hard
Just go have a talk with God
When your load’s too much to bear
Just go talk to God He cares

PRAYER
A private, intimate talk between you and God which gives you access to the same divine omnipotence that sustained the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross…which gives you access to the same power that raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead…a privilege which allows you to invoke divine power for yourself and for others in circumstances that have no human solution.

“And all things you ask in prayer, BELIEVING, you will receive.”

Romans, Chapter 1, Verses 8 to 15
Paul’s Prayer for the Purpose of his Ministry

First, I, Paul, thank God the Father in prayer through Jesus Christ’s name for all you believers in Rome, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world…throughout the entire Roman Empire.

The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble…

And those who know Your name (Your believers, Lord) will put their trust in You, For You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion; declare among the peoples His (righteous) deeds.

“Ask (in prayer), and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

“For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

“Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf (of bread), will give him a stone?”

“Or if he (the son) asks for a fish, he (the man) will not give him (the son) a snake, will he?”

“If (1) you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children (and you do), how much more will your (God the) Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!”

Therefore let us (believers in Christ) draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus, falling on his knees before Him and saying…

“Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic and is very ill; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.

“I brought him to Your disciples, and they could not cure him.”

And Jesus answered and said, “You unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me.”

And Jesus rebuked him (the demon), and the demon came out of him (the boy), and the boy was cured at once.

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not drive it (the demon) out?”

And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith (unbelief); for truly I say to you, if you have faith (as small as) the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain (any obstacle),‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.”

It was at this time that He (the Lord Jesus Christ) went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer to God (the Father).

And when day came, He (the Lord Jesus Christ) called His disciples (His students) to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as apostles (individuals He would send out with the authority to proclaim the gospel to the whole world)…

(The Lord Jesus Christ called) Simon (Barjona), whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew…

…and Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot…

Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

And He (the Lord Jesus Christ) came out and proceeded as was His custom to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him.

When He (the Lord Jesus Christ) arrived at the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

And He (the Lord Jesus Christ) withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray…

…saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him (the Lord Jesus Christ), strengthening Him.

And being in agony He (the Lord Jesus Christ) was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.

When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow…

…and said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.//In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed

Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.

Thanks for watching!
Thanks for listening!
