But if (1) any of you lacks wisdom (and of course we do), let him (keep on) ask(ing) of God (the Father for wisdom in prayer), (the Father) who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it (wisdom) will be given to him.
But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, //being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
“What do you think about the Christ (the Messiah)?”
And the Word (God the Son…the Lord) became flesh (Jesus Christ…true humanity), and dwelt (tabernacled) among us, and we saw (beheld) His glory, glory as of the only begotten (uniquely born One) from (God) the Father, full of grace and (full of) truth.

So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful (grace oriented) giver.

Romans Chapter 1 - Prayer is For Guidance
“And all things you ask in prayer, BELIEVING, you will receive.”
PRAYER
A private, intimate talk between you and God which gives you access to the same divine omnipotence that sustained the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross…which gives you access to the same power that raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead…a privilege which allows you to invoke divine power for yourself and for others in circumstances that have no human solution.
I (Paul) pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His (God the Father’s) calling, what are the riches of the glory (the glorious riches) of His inheritance in the (person of the) saints…
…and what is the surpassing greatness of His (God the Father’s) power toward us who believe. These (glorious riches) are in accordance with the working of the strength of His (God the Father’s) might…
…which He (God the Father) brought about in (our union with) Christ, when He (God the Father) raised Him (the Lord Jesus Christ) from the dead and seated Him (the Lord Jesus Christ) at His (God the Father’s) right hand in the heavenly places…
…far above all rule and (all) authority and (all) power and (all) dominion, and (above) every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one (the age) to come.
For this reason I (Paul) bow my knees before (God) the Father…
…from whom every family in heaven (angelic creatures) and on earth (human creatures) derives its name…
…that He (God the Father) would grant you, according to the riches of His (God the Father’s) glory (out of His glorious riches), to be strengthened with (divine) power through His (God the Father’s Holy) Spirit in the inner man…
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
But resist him, firm (stabilized) in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.

…so that (the Lord Jesus) Christ may (in)dwell in your hearts through faith…
…to whom God (the Father) willed to make known what is the riches of the glory (the glorious riches) of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in(dwelling) you, the hope of glory.

…and that you, being (having been) rooted (by God like a plant) and grounded (by God like the foundation of a building) in (the sphere of unconditional) love (in the past and from that point on forever)…//may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth (how wide) and length (how long) and height (how high) and depth (how deep God’s unconditional love for us is)…
…and to know (through experience) the (unconditional) love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
Now to Him (God the Father) who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us…
…to Him (God the Father) be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
You are from God, little children (believers in Christ), and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in(dwelling) you than he who is in the world.
“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,//casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,//to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
