Like many Christian Churches, Barah Ministries began as a bible study in a home.  The year was 1999.  In the years since, God has moved people from all over the country to Arizona to worship through this ministry. 

In 2008, Barah Ministries became a Christian Church with an ordained Pastor and an Internet presence, and we began to proclaim our faith by preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.

ROM 1:8
I thank my God through the Lord Jesus Christ for you all believers in Christ, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world. 

Our Internet presence has allowed us to welcome worshipers from over one hundred international countries and from all fifty United States.

Barah is a Hebrew word. It means to make something out of nothing.  By studying the Word of God daily, we are allowing the Lord Jesus Christ to make something out of the nothingness our human lives would be without Him.

JOH 15:5
“I (the Lord Jesus Christ) am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.” 

The Lord Jesus Christ is the center of this ministry.  We ask all who worship here…

Barah Ministries serves the Lord Jesus Christ by evangelizing to unbelievers, providing them with the accurate Gospel Message, the Good News about the Lord Jesus Christ’s salvation work on their behalf at the Cross.

JOH 14:6
The Lord Jesus Christ said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through believing in Me.” 

John 3:36
“He who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ has eternal life; but he who does not obey the command to believe in the Son will not see eternal life, but the wrath of God (the Lake of Fire) abides on him.”

Barah Ministries serves the Lord Jesus Christ by teaching the Word of God to believers in Christ.

JOH 8:32
“…and you will know the truth (of the Word of God), and the truth will make you free.”

But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own human interpretation,//for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men carried along by God the Holy Spirit spoke from the exact thinking of THE God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

What we know about the Lord Jesus Christ is that He loves all of His creatures unconditionally.  He will never love us more than He does right now…He will never love us less than He does right now…and there is no way for us to disappoint Him.  It is our aim to look at life and to see life through the Lord’s eyes and through the Lord’s thinking.  

ISA 55:8
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. 

We know that the bible is His exact thinking.  It has no errors, no contradictions, and no confusion.  When we learn the Word of God we are learning to think exactly as the Lord Jesus Christ does.

1CO 2:16
For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.

Barah Ministries is supported by the gracious financial gifts.  Even though we are sanctioned by God to charge for the many things we provide for God’s worship, we choose not to exercise our right.  Therefore no price appears on any material from Barah Ministries, so that anyone who desires biblical teaching may have it free of charge.  Even though the materials we provide are free of charge, they are not free of cost.  We appreciate it when the Word of God motivates you to provide for others with your contributions.
