What happens when a government turns on its citizens?

 

Isaiah, Chapter 9, Verse 6 gives the only answer for human government that is the enemy of its own people…incompetent to rule a free people…a reference to and a prediction about the coming Messiah…

 

ISAIAH 9:6

For a child will be born to us…a son will be given to us…and the government (of the world) will rest on His shoulders…and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor…Mighty God yes…Jesus Christ is God)… Eternal Father (a reference to His fatherly rulership of Israel even though He is God the Son)…Prince of Peace.
