PASTOR RORY CLARK 

Fifteen Years as an Ordained Pastor 

January 8, 2023

 

It was a pleasure to celebrate my fifteenth year as an ordained Pastor last week.  We planned to restart last week, but the facility was not quite ready.  I’ve been teaching the Word of God for 24 years.  It all began at my dining room table in 1999.

 

I’m happy to be your Pastor.  We’ve taken the journey through false teaching to the celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ, and His Word, and His perfect provisions of unconditional love, forgiveness, and grace.  May the Lord help us to keep on being a perfect reflection of Him. 

 

SONG WORSHIP LEADER JUNE MURPHY

Now in the Non-Resident Congregation

 

Unfortunately for all of us, June Murphy is now in our non-resident congregation.  She moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to live near one of her daughters.  On the health front, June had a knee replacement surgery late last year that went well.  She is going to get the other knee replaced this year as well.  These were surgeries that her doctors here in Arizona were unwilling to do.  So soon she’ll be able to hobble around much better than before.

 

Keep June in your prayers.  We’ll certainly see her visiting us on occasion. She and I talk regularly.  I’m sure you’ll miss her laughter, and her burping and her snoring during lessons as much as I will.

THANK YOU!

Deacon Denny Goodall

 

Barah Ministries is in a new and smaller location…right in the same building as before but on the ground floor in a much nicer space.

 

No words are adequate to thank Deacon Denny Goodall for coordinating the move, which was no small task.  Denny coordinated it while starting a new job, chauffeuring kids, and being a husband.  Tough work.

 

Thanks also to Zachary Clark and Norbert Chagolla and Denise Jones for providing service above and beyond the call of duty in helping with the move.

Speaking of Denise Jones, thank you so much for all the support you provide in the background to make sure that Barah Ministries runs smoothly.  You always think of way to make things happen…whether it’s cleaning the facility, or hiring movers to help with the move, or providing Barah Ministries swag, or Bibles, or food on Sundays…we appreciate you.  Frankly, we wouldn’t be here as a ministry without your support on so many levels, and we thank God for you every day in our prayers.
