For Those Serving in the Military Past and Present

 

Thanks to the men and women who serve our country, who are willing to lay down their lives for their friends.  Veterans Day, which we celebrated this week, honors all those who have served in the U.S. military, honoring their patriotism, service, and sacrifice.

 

It originated as Armistice Day on November 11, 1919, to commemorate the end of World War I, but was expanded to honor all veterans in 1954.
